- GSF Accelerator is a 9 weeks program to foster innovation in the fast growing digital economy of India. It aims to provide select start-ups with unparalleled access to venture and business networks, personalized & intensive mentoring, and initial capital. GSF Accelerator is designed to help product-oriented start-ups in the areas of mobile, social, local and cloud.
- GSF Accelerator is curated by Rajesh Sawhney, founder of GSF Superangels, a network of 30 leading digital entrepreneurial minds.
- GSF Accelerator program is built around three unique values: Intensity of mentorship, deep collaboration with ecosystem, and creation of global springboards for the Indian start-ups.
Highlights:
- The program will run simultaneously in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai between May-July, 2013, with each location hosting 5 start-ups.
- Extensive coaching will be provided to each of the 20 GSF start-ups by a mentorship pool of over 200 leading co-founders and digital masterminds from across the world.
- The GSF accelerator start-ups will attend 25 intensive and proprietary workshops conducted by global experts.
- 20 start-ups will receive initial funding from GSF. This is the single largest funding event for the Indian start-ups by number.
- GSF Accelerator start-ups will also be showcased at the GSF South 2013 (The Third Global Superangels Forum) on July 15 and 16, 2013, where they will seek further funding from over 400 of the leading early stage investors from across the world.
- GSF Superangels will provide further funding to a few start-ups at the end of the program and announce the same at GSF South 2013.
- 30 leading founders are funding GSF Superangels and GSF Accelerator. The list is enclosed.
- Leading Indian funds such as Kae Capital, and Blume Capital have partnered with GSF Accelerator.
- GSF has entered into multiple global relationships. It has tied up with the renowned 500 startups by Dave McClure to provide access to its Silicon Valley networks. Similarly, the leading European incubator and mentorship platform, Seedcamp will provide GSF start-ups deep access to its network across Europe.
